FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- Moonrise Systems Inc., an IT company developing secure browser software, has launched Netstop Enterprise 4.0, software designed to meet the needs of the information and marketing kiosk customers.
According to a news release, this latest version will provide customers with a secure public browsing interface without need for pay-for-use options. Netstop Enterprise will give users a simple alternative for larger deployment of multiple units, the release said. The software is developed in Delphi language.
Netstop allows companies to set up public multimedia kiosks with free access to promote their brands and give customers an added service while still restricting the consumer's access. This eliminates any potential internal damage to the kiosk's computer hard drives, the release said.
One potential application is in human resources. Organizations can set up human resource terminals to facilitate the application process for potential employees.
The product has interactive features such as video-e-mails with audio and picture post cards. MSN Instant Messenger can be installed. Customers can also set up controls allowing use of pre-installed programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel. Netstop Photo Suite can allow users to download photos from any digital camera and instantly send photo emails to family and friends.
Netstop Enterprise 4.0 can import and position any color or graphic to create a custom interface, the release said. All multimedia functions and interactive features can be monitored from a central location to facilitate the management of kiosks and ensure productivity.
A free trial version of NetStop Enterprise 4.0 is available for downloaded at the Moonrise Web site.
Moonrise has also launched an authorized partner program for turnkey kiosk developers.
