Monument Health implements electronic kiosk visitor system

Monument Health in Rapid City, South Dakota has implemented an electronic kiosk visitor system, according to a KOTA Territory report.
The kiosk system will allow visitors of Monument Health to check in and check out for their visits, helping the hospital enhance their security and track who is in the hospital at all times. The kiosk system is currently only being used for inpatient visitors, but the hospital plans to make it available in the emergency department soon.
"Our patients trust us to keep them safe, and this visitor kiosk allows us to know exactly who's in our building at any given time," Judi O'Connell, Monument Health's manager of guest services, told the news outlet. "That's an additional level of safety, so this is going to help our patients, our visitors, and our caregivers know that they are safe."
