Missouri town installs drug destruction kiosk

A drug destruction kiosk, which lets citizens dispose and destroy expired and unused medications, has been deployed in Sunrise Beach, Missouri.

It is a first-of-its-kind kiosk in Missouri, according to a KRMS Radio report, and the 14th such kiosk in the U.S.

The kiosk, located in the Sunrise Beach Police Department's lobby, was funded through a donation and will be supported by the local Rotary Club.
