Springfield, Missouri, residents will be able to get books from an outdoor library kiosk in the parking lot of the Frisco Building on E. Chestnut Expressway. The Library Express Kiosk will hold around 340 books and DVDs, according to a Springfield News-Leader report.

A user scans their library card, enters the number for the desired item, then receives the item through a drawer.

Library materials can be returned at the kiosk as well.

Users can also request materials available at the kiosk via the online library catalog. The library will text email or call the library card holder when the item is ready.
