Cape Girardeau County, Missouri lawmakers allocated funds for six temperature verification kiosks to help detect COVID-19 symptoms before entering county buildings, replacing a healthcare professional who takes temperatures, according to a kfvs12.com report. The purchase will be covered by funds under the federal CARES Act.
Sheriff Ruth Ann Dickerson said the device will allow for social distancing and speed up the process when entering the Courthouse.
