Missouri care givers, law enforcement install Narcan machines

Central Ozarks Medical Centers serving Missouri has teamed with non-profit organizations and law enforcement to install four Narcan vending machines to help opioid addicts, according to a krcgtv report.

Dawnelyn Schneider, the hospital's chief network development and population health officer, said 250 to 280 boxes per month are being sent to the machines, indicating significant use.

The machines are located at The Hub, a COMC community Center in Lake Ozark, the Lebanon Police Department in Lebanon, The Pulaski County Health Department in Waynesville and COMC in Camdenton.
