Mississippi detention center installs visitation kiosk

The Jones County, Mississippi sheriff's department's juvenile detention center has installed a kiosk to allow inmates to send and receive video calls, emails and text messages, according to a wdam.com report.

The kiosk is intended to allow family members to visit safely, conveniently and more frequently.

Jail staff monitors all communication.
