Harrison County, Mississippi, has installed self-service kiosks in seven locations for paying personal property, real estate or mobile home taxes, in addition to delinquent taxes and vehicle tag renewals, according to a SunHerald report. The kiosks are being installed to reduce lines in the county tax collector's office, where property taxes are paid, or in the chancery clerk's office, where delinquent taxes are paid.
Residents will pay a fee of 2.25% of the bill at the kiosks, the same as paying online.
