Ministry sets up self-service kiosk at mall

The Information System Department of Quatar's Ministry of Interior announced it has installed a
Self Service Machine (SSM) at the Landmark Mall in Doha, Quatar.
According to a report inThe Peninsula, the SSM allows Quatari Smart ID card holders to perform transactions ranging from paying traffic fines to managing entry and exit visas. Certain employers can also use the SSM to manage residence permits for employees.
