Microcom introduces printers for gaming industry

May 4, 2011

Microcom Corporation recently introduced several desktop- and kiosk-style printers designed for the gaming market's latest generation of unattended label, receipt and ticket delivery systems.

According to a press release, these heavy duty, flexible, and reliable printers offer many features, including auto-load and built-in partial or full cutters.

"They accept readily available low cost thermal papers, which include labels, receipts, and thick stock, which is often desired in the ticketing industry," Bob Young, national accounts manager, said in the release.

Communication choices include Serial, USB, and Ethernet TCP/IP. However, Young said the company can create a specialty printer and assist with integration for companies who have a unique printing need.
