MARKHAM, Ontario -- Kiosk vendor Compar Corp. has introduced the Satellite Micro PC for kiosk and integrated-display deployments.
The Satellite offers an anodized aluminum enclosure and features full-length mounting slots for simple attachment to any LCD monitor, according to a news release. Price was not disclosed.
The product is available with a choice of Celeron or Pentium III CPUs for up to 1.2 GHz power with as much as 256 MB single-slot RAM.
"Weighing in at only four pounds, the Satellite is a versatile computer in a very small package," said Geoff Weber, executive vice president at Compar. "Its compact design makes it ideal for deployments where space it tight, yet it is robust enough to withstand the rigors of demanding applications."
