Miami Airport deploys security kiosks

The Miami International Airport(MIA) has deployed additional biometric kiosks to improve customer service and security.

The Miami International Airport(MIA) has deployed additional biometric kiosks to improve customer service and security. These kiosks, developed by information technology company SITA, use facial and fingerprint technology to identify passengers.

MIA is deploying 44 of these kiosks, all of which are US Custom and Border Protection certified. 

These kiosks will help improve efficiency, customer satisfaction and security, according to a statement by MIA Director Emilio T. González.
