MGM, the owners of several hotels and casinos, will soon begin to charge for parking via kiosks, according to a reportby ABC 13.
The company has deployed the pay kiosks in parking garages and hotels, but they are still wrapped in plastic and are not operational yet. Some visitors are unhappy at having to pay for parking at MGM propertieis.
"You should be able to park for free," one California visitor said. "I can't see coming to spend money and then having to spend money on top of that just to be able to park."
Currently, the company has not announced when it will begin charging for parking.
