MGM Mirage signs with Global Cash Access

LAS VEGAS - MGM Mirage has signed a multi-year contract withGlobal Cash Access Inc., provider of cash access products and related services to the gaming industry.

Through GCA's alliance with NRT Technology Corp., MGM Mirage will deploy more than 200 3-in-1 enabled QuickJack Plus Redemption Kiosks, which incorporate GCA's patented 3-in-1 rollover functionality for cash access into self-service slot ticket redemption kiosks provided by NRT.

"The convergence of ticket redemption and cash access will increase the speed of transactions for our guests and we anticipate the new system could also result in lower operating costs for our Company," said Tom Mikulich, president and chief operating officer of Treasure Island.

In addition to the QuickJack Plus Redemption Kiosks, MGM Mirage will deploy GCA's Casino Cash Plus 3-in-1 ATMs, QuikCash cash advance terminals, and its Central Credit credit bureau service. MGM Mirage will also deploy GCA's QuikCash Plus (QCP) Web product, a proprietary, browser-based system for cash access transactions at casino cashier stations. The QCP Web product consolidates multiple financial services onto one platform, streamlining operations and increasing the speed of transactions.

The Casino Cash Plus 3-in-1 ATM offers casino patrons a quick way to access cash through ATM cash withdrawals, POS debit card transactions and credit card cash advances with patented 3-in-1 rollover functionality. One of GCA's most popular ATMs, it provides convenience to casino patrons and revenue potential to casino operators.
