Meridian Zero Degrees kiosks add MOD Systems' Download2Go platform

Self-service solutions provider Meridian Zero Degrees announced today at the National Retail Federation Convention and Expo that its line of interactive kiosks will support the MOD Systems Download2Go retail digital entertainment platform.

The new partnership gives Meridian customers a solution for providing digital movies and music transferred from kiosks to flash memory drives and portable devices. Meridian and MOD Systems are demonstrating the Download2Go solution in the Meridian Booth 3151 at the NRF Convention and Expo in New York City this week.

MOD Systems provides thousands of digital movie titles and hundreds of thousands of MP3 music tracks through its Download2Go solution. Consumers can purchase or rent content from Meridian Kiosks and quickly transfer to Secure Digital (SD) memory cards, USB sticks, MP3 players and Android and Blackberry mobile phones.

The Download2Go kiosks are designed for retail environments and other out-of-home locations, such as airports, convenience stores and shopping malls.
