Meridian Mediaport kiosk a full-service digital music device

ABERDEEN, N.C. — Kiosk and self-service device manufacturer Meridian Kioskshas partnered with digital media content distributor Mediaport Entertainment to offer full-service digital entertainment kiosks.
According to a news release, the kiosks provide a library of more than 1 million songs from all the major recording labels, including the newest releases, which is updated on a weekly basis. Point-of-sale systems allow customers to burn or download in minutes custom-mix selections or full album content to CDs, mobile phones, USB storage devices, flash cards and compatible digital music players.
Other digital-on-demand products with download capability are expected to be added later this year.
