Meridian enters telecommunications partnership

PINEHURST, N.C. - Kiosk project developer Meridian Kiosks LLC has reached an agreement with telecommunications firm Sequoia Broadband Inc. to develop content for kiosk projects.

Under the agreement, Sequoia's proprietary system of IP networking, scheduling, real-time network management, and TV-quality multimedia applications will be combined with Meridian's kiosk enclosure developments.

Meridian officials said the partnership will be marketed to retailers, corporations, and information-service providers seeking wide-bandwidth, real-time content systems.

Meridian Kiosks is a full-service kiosk solutions company based in Pinehurst, N.C. Sequoia Broadband is an interactive media systems developer based in Encino, Calif.
