Meridian achieves SOC2 compliance certification

Customers of Meridian, a kiosk manufacturer, can be assured the company's software, hardware and client data is SOC2 compliant, the company announced in a press release.

SOC2 certification, developed by the American Institute of CPAs, is designed to ensure the strictest safeguards for software and hardware protection.

To achieve the SOC2 certification Meridian completed the necessary requirements of all of the SOC2's 5 "trust service philosophies," including security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality and privacy of client information.

Safeguarding security means that all of Meridian's firewalls, authentication processes and intrusion detection are as safe as possible. Additionally, Meridian met all the requirements for confidentiality, which is in regard to the protocols for protecting all client information and data.
