WEST CHESTER, Pa. -- Eager to spread the gospel of cash acceptance in the kiosk industry, electronic cash payment systems developer MEIhas launched a Web site devoted to cash-accepting and kiosks.

The site, www.meiglobal.com/kiosks, contains news and information on cash integration issues. Company officials said it was crucial to explain the importance of cash acceptors in certain kiosk deployments.

"We saw a real need for an easy-to-use resource for the kiosk industry to learn more about the topic of cash integration," Otto Lohse, MEI industry market manager, retail division, said in a news release.

Based in West Chester, Pa., MEI manufactures electronic bill acceptors, coin changers, and other electronic payment systems for the vending industry.
