Mediterranean island gains self-service postal kiosk

August 22, 2012

Students at the University Campus in Gozo, part of the Maltese Islands in the Mediterranean, now have a self-service postal kiosk available for 24-hour use, according to GozoNews.com.

The self-service postal kiosk relies on software called Swift Postal and enables customers to access postal services, as well as pay telephone and electricity bills, providing step-by-step user instructions for speed and efficiency.

"As the national postal operator, MaltaPost is constantly investing in driving technological innovations in the postal market for the sustainable development of the service that will add to customer’s convenience" MaltaPost CEO Joseph Gafa told GozoNews.com.
