Media supplier changes name, shifts emphasis

February 18, 2002

BELLEVUE, Wash. - Interactive Objects Inc. (OTCBB:OBJX), which designs embedded hardware and software solutions for digital media projects, is playing a name game as it shifts its corporate focus in a kiosk-driven direction. The company's name is being changed to Fullplay Media Systems Inc. and its stock will begin trading under the symbol FPLY on Jan. 7.

Company officials said Fullplay would be focused on digital media products and services in consumer and commercial markets during 2002. Among the sectors Fullplay will target for the first time are digital-on-demand kiosks, consumer audio and video systems, and in-seat entertainment products.

"In 2002 we intend to be a leading supplier of many of the key building blocks for embedded media products and further our market penetration by providing new products and services for the digitally connected home," Dennis Tevlin, Fullplay president and chief executive officer, said in a news release.

Based in Bellevue, Wash., Fullplay reported a net loss of $156,894 on revenue of $1,049,613 during the third quarter of fiscal year 2001, ending Sept. 30. The company lost $359,382 on revenue of $224,691 during the same quarter in 2000.
