LAS VEGAS - Seeking to create a reputation for versatility, Fullplay Media Systems Inc. (OTCBB:FPLY) on Jan. 7 unveiled a multimedia development platform for kiosks and other digital media products at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
Fullplay's Dharma II system includes operating system application software, development tools, target-design schematics, and documentation.
The system supports multiple embedded operating systems, including Microsoft Windows and Linux. Fullplay officials said the system can be utilized in a wide range of digital media applications, including retail media kiosks, portable MP3 players, digital audio receives and car stereos, image viewers, and digital video recorders.
"Dharma's inclusive design standardizes key hardware and software interfaces, and integrates the most common digital media applications into a single development environment," Mark Phillips, Fullplay chief technology officer, said in a news release.
