McNeese State Football pioneers athlete health tracking with kiosk

McNeese State University Football in Lake Charles, Louisiana has introduced the QuickTake Sports digital check-in kiosk, according to a report by the Malaysian Reserve. The technology uses biometric sensors, facial recognition and a touchscreen to track athletes' vital signs and mood.
"Innovative systems like QuickTake are an absolute game-changer for our sports medicine team," Heath Schroyer, director of athletics at McNeese State, told the news outlet. "QuickTake data is helping our student-athletes perform at their highest level."
The kiosk provides athletes with motivational messages, fostering a focus on health goals. This comprehensive approach has been praised by the McNeese State athletic staff.
