The quick-serve-restaurant giant McDonald's is now trialing McCafe kiosks at two downtown Chicago locations. The kiosk allows users to skip the lines and order lattes, mochas, cappuccinos or other coffees, according to a report by the Chicago Tribune.

Customers can use the kiosk's touchscreen to customize their beverage by adding espresso, milk or individual flavors such as French vanilla, hazelnut and caramel. Currently, the drinks cost $2.99 and are available in 16-ounce cups.

The kiosks only accept credit cards for payment. McDonald's has not said if it plans to roll out more kiosks across the U.S. However, the restaurant does plan to install these kiosks at its McCafe stores in Canada.
