McDonald's self-service kiosks relieve pressure on hurried customers

Wall Street Journal: McDonald's is increasingly using self-service kiosks to give customers more options. In France, for instance, a top complaint was that customers felt pressured to order; self-service kiosks relieved some of that pressure. Top company executive Ralph Alvarez showed off one of the kiosks in a meeting with McDonald's franchisees last month.
