Public school personnel in Austin, Minnesota, are seeing the positive effects of HealthSpot telehealth kiosks, according to a report from KAALtv.com.
According to the station's report, the Mayo Clinic deployed a HealthSpot kiosk, which allows staff members to consult with doctors for routine medical exams via webcam, at Ellis Middle School in March, and school officials are calling it a success.
"We're excited with this partnership to be able to bring health care to the community in a way that our employees and their dependents can easily get in and see a provider for basic care needs," Elaine Hansen, benefits specialist for Austin Public Schools, told the station.
