Motorists will pay for parking using a pair of digital kiosks beginning on Monday in downtown Fall River, Massachusetts, according to a report in The Herald News. The kiosks accept coins, bills and credit cards.

The kiosks are on Sullivan Drive and in the public parking area directly behind the nearby post office.

The city plans to install 35 kiosks by the end of the year that will allow the removal of up to 140 parking meters. The total cost for the kiosks will be $385,000.

The daily hourly parking rate will double to $1.
