Massachusetts town installs parking kiosk

Tilsbury in Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, has installed a kiosk to regulate parking for extended time periods, according to My Times.

Customers enter their vehicle license plate number and a credit card, and the kiosk holds a charge for either five days or $10. Users can increase the number of days beyond five. Beyond four days, the daily fee is $2.

The park-and-ride lot off of State Road still provides free parking, the report said.
