Mass. teen designs informational kiosk

Winchester Star: Dan Pennachio, who just completed his freshman year at Winchester (Mass.) High School, has drawn up blueprints for an informational kiosk to be used by the city's Conservation Commission.

While Pennachio hopes the project will help prepare him for a planned career in engineering, it is also a service project he believes will benefit the entire town. "I was looking for some community service to do over the summer, and this seemed like it would be fun," he said. "It sounded like a good cause to me, so I took it up."
