Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick stopped by Cambridge last Friday to celebrate the recent success of Cambridge-based Vecna Technologies, a provider of technology and robotics solutions for business and healthcare. According to the Cambridge Chronicle, Vecna signed a $120 million contract earlier this year to provide automated kiosks to Veterans Affairs hospitals throughout the nation. The agreement is expected to allow the company to expand from 65 employees to 165 over the next two years. In all, 15,000 kiosks will be installed throughout the United States.
