Maryland recently repealed a law banning the sale of many over-the-counter pharmacy items from vending machines, according to a wtop.com report.

Two Pharmabox vending machines are now available: one at Arundel Mills Mall and the other is in a Clarksburg shopping center.

Product information is displayed on a touchscreen prior to each purchase.

Pharmabox previously did not choose to place more machines because pain relief products were restricted to small size containers. The company did not comment on its future plans.
