Maryland police warn of ATM skimming

The police department in Salisbury, Maryland is warning residents of an increase in skimming on ATMs. Officials say they have received reports of skimmers on ATMs in local businesses, according to a report by WBOC.

Authorities recommend users look for traces of glue or other substances around the card reader or keypad, as well as loose-fitting fixtures, unnatural bulkiness on the card reader or keypad, or unusual color coding on the keypad or keys.
