More airlines at Ninoy Aquino International Airport in the Philippines have integrated with the airport's automated passenger processing system, according to an MSN report, expanding access to self-check-in kiosks across three terminals. The kiosks are now available to passengers flying with carriers including Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific, AirAsia, United Airlines, Qatar Airways and Air Canada, among others, depending on terminal and route eligibility.
In addition to self-check-in, the airport has introduced automated pre-security screening gates, self-boarding gates and new immigration e-gates as part of a broader modernization effort led by airport operator New NAIA Infra Corp. The operator said more airlines are expected to join the system, with automated bag drop features being rolled out in phases to further streamline passenger processing.
