Mall kiosk aims to speed up airport security for south Florida residents

A CLEAR kiosk for TSA PreCheck enrollment has opened at Aventura Mall in Northeast Miami-Dade, according to a Miami Herald report. This is the second location in a South Florida shopping mall, with another kiosk at Sawgrass Mills in Sunrise.

The kiosk allows travelers to enroll in the TSA PreCheck program, which provides access to shorter security lines and allows passengers to keep on their belts and light jackets. The enrollment process at the kiosk advises pre-enrollment online and requires a U.S. passport or acceptable ID, fingerprints and payment. The kiosk is located on the upper level of the mall.
