People visiting Penang, located on the northwest corner of Malaysia, will have access to an emergency defibrillator for persons suffering a cardiac arrest thanks to a recently installed kiosk, an initiative by the Penang Heart Safe Society, according to a report in The Star. The kiosk has been installed at Karpal Singh Drive, a tourist and jogging spot.
The kiosk, installed at a cost of RM15,000 ($3,555.77), contains instructions on the usage of the AED machine.
