Malaysia entrepreneur offers refill machines for liquid cleaners

An entrepreneur in Malaysia has introduced vending machines for refilling cleaning agents including liquid detergents, according to an SAYS report. Customers can bring empty plastic bottles to the machine, select the product and amount on a touchscreen and refill their bottles.

The Ecovend machine offers laundry detergent, hand sanitizer, toilet cleaner, floor cleaner, dishwashing liquid, hand wash liquid and all-purpose cleaner.

The machine offers Bubbles and Zeffort brand cleaning products and accepts credit cards, debit cards and e-wallet payments

There are six machines in operation nationwide.
