Maine seeks to remove limit on medications sold in vending machines

Maine lawmakers passed a bill to remove the restriction on the number of medications that can be offered in a vending machine, according to the NAMA weekly legislative roundup. The bill removes the restriction of 12 medications per machine and now heads to the governor for signing.

The National Automatic Merchandising Association supports the bill, sponsored by Rep. Maureen Terry, D-108, the house majority leader.
