Maine college installs free COVID test kit machine

Students at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine will be able to get free COVID test kits from a vending machine on the first floor of the David Saul Smith Union, according to a report in the Bowdoin Orient, a campus newspaper. Students will be able to get up to four free test kits this semester using their OneCard. Students previously had to get the tests at the OneCard Office or Bowdoin Health Services.

The machine was arranged after deans received complaints from students that COVID tests were not available on campus outside of weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
