MacPractice has announced MacPractice MD, DC, 20/20 and DDS 5 with MacPractice EHR/iEHR, which contains interoperability for MacPractice iOS8 compatible iEHR, Clipboard and Patient Check In apps for iPad. It features ICD-10 code mapping with ICD-9 and SNOMED, updated for secure messaging, Kiosk 2 and online registration, the company said.
"MacPractice 5 represents a leap forward for all doctors who prefer the reliability and ease of use of Macs in their offices with the support of an established US vendor. 2014 Edition Certified MacPractice MD, DDS, DC and 20/20 MU 5.0 make Apple technology usable for US physicians, dentists, chiropractors and eye care professionals who wish to qualify for government incentives for the adoption and meaningful use of electronic health records," MacPractice CEO Mark Hollis said in a statement.
MacPractice EHR/iEHR enables clinicians to record patient visits on an iPad and transfer notes to their Mac, or retrieve notes from a Mac to send to an iPad.
Customers who purchase MacPractice MD, DC, 20/20, or DDS 5 can take advantage of a $500 discount until December 31, 2014.
