Lycos to provide content for e-street

LONDON - English kiosk distributor e-street.com, which offers city guides in London, Bristol and four Irish cities, has a new partner on its Internet road trip after reaching a content distribution deal with search portal Lycos UK on Sept. 20.

Lycos will integrate e-street's city guides into its English and Irish search engines, including its property and regional directories. The e-street system, which can also be accessed over the Internet, allows users to access city information, including restaurants and shopping information.

Lycos UK is the first search portal to work with e-street, which on Sept. 18 announced it had raised more than $500,000 from investors and shareholders. The company is preparing to expand to 34 additional UK cities in the next year.
