Lotte Duty Free, a travel retailer, has installed barrier free kiosks at its pickup counters at Incheon and Gimhae airports in South Korea. These kiosks are in compliance with the Act on the Prohibition of Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities and Remedies for Infringement of Rights, according to the Moodie Davitt Report.
The kiosks include a monitor lift for wheelchair users, voice guidance, high contrast and zoom modules. There are 14 kiosks installed at both airports, with plans to add more to Gimpo International Airport this year.
"We have introduced dedicated terminals to ensure our customers can use the duty-free pickup service without inconvenience. We will continue to enhance the digital experience to increase duty-free shopping satisfaction across all online and offline areas," a spokesperson for Lotte Duty Free said in the report.
