London-based design studio Special Projects has introduced a kiosk called "Moving Buttons" that moves the onscreen button for each customer, ensuring that two people do not touch the same spot as the user searches for items or pays for orders, according to a Fast Company report.

The search button pulls up a horizontal menu, which allows the user to tap from a broad topic such as "bakery" to a specific item such as "croissant." Once the finds the item sought, they tap its image which becomes a new button to allow the user to select the quantity.

Adrian Westaway, company principal, said the user should be able to find all the commands they need as long as they can locate the pay buttton.

Once the system recognizes that its usable real estate has been touched by numerous customers, it alerts a clerk to sterilize the surface.
