LinkNYC kiosks in New York City have been posting the names of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arberry, Eric Garner and other African Americans who have been killed recently, according to a tweet from #SayTheirNames.
One tweet said the names have been posted on all 1,780 Link kiosks beginning June 2 and will continue to do so in response to a tweet asking who hacked LinkNYC.
On Tuesday, LinkNYC ran its own #BlackOutTuesday, showing the names of African Americans murdered by police and by gun violence for 12 hours, according to an Adweek.com report.
