Legal services kiosk opens in underserved Texas community

Rio Grande Valley, Texas residents can access a free legal services kiosk at the Harlingen, Texas library, according to a valleycentral.com report. Users can file forms, download legal documents, print documents and access legal resources.

The kiosk is one of several such machines in Texas, but it is the first in the Rio Grande Valley.

The kiosk is available in English and Spanish and does not require a library card. Users must call the library to schedule a time.

The kiosk was developed by Texas Legal Aid groups, courts and nonprofits to assist low-income residents.
