Legal service group debuts kiosk at courthouse

The nonprofit Texas Legal Services Center has launched a legal kiosk at the Travis County courthouse in Austin, Texas.

The kiosks brings the group's statewide kiosk total to 45, according to an KXAN report.

A local library also now features a legal kiosk.

"This program is rooted in the belief that access to justice should never depend on your zip code, income or whether you own a computer," Karen Miller, executive director of Texas Legal Services Center, told the news outlet

The kiosks offer free services and resources including forms, print documents and the opportunity to chat with an attorney in real time.
