Learning Tree International Inc.(NASDAQ NM: LTRE), an international provider of education and training to IT professionals, has incorporated Internet kiosks into the design of its new and improved New York Education Center.The 19 Web-enabled kiosks are available to course participants who need to access e-mail accounts while off the job.
Located at the CBS Building in the heart of midtown Manhattan, the center has been enlarged 22,000 square feet. Eleven classrooms were added, bringing the total to 21. All of the rooms are equipped with new Pentium III computers, ergonomic furniture and high-end projection equipment for visual presentations.
"Our newly expanded New York Education Center allows us to continue to meet the ever-growing demand for the highest quality hands-on information technology training in New York and the surrounding area," said Joel Stream, president of Reston, Va.-based Learning Tree. "Our customers will receive excellent training while being provided with the finest service and support in a first-class facility."
This expanded education center offers a full roster of over 160 Learning Tree courses, including Web development, Windows NT and 2000, SQL Server, Java, UNIX, Linux and Oracle.
Besides New York, Learning Tree International has hands-on IT training in Washington, D.C., Boston, Chicago, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Toronto, Ottawa, London, Paris, Stockholm and other cities around the globe.
