Toronto Globe and Mail: Richard Susskind, the author who shook up the legal profession by predicting lawyers would send advice and documents through e-mail, is now predicting that self-service will invade law practices. In his book "The End of Lawyers? Rethinking the Nature of Legal Services," Susskind says that big firms will outsource basic legal services to cheaper quasi-legal experts and will build retail kiosks or Web sites that allow clients to download regulatory expertise or draft legal documents.
