Kodak's Gary joins Kiosks.org Association board

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Rick Gary, worldwide operations director of Eastman Kodak's Consumer Imaging Service & Support, Retail Business Segment, has joined the advisory board of Kiosks.org Association, an association that identifies and promotes the interests of companies in the self-service and kiosk industries

Gary has been in the kiosk business since 1995 and is responsible for designing and building Eastman Kodak's worldwide service and support infrastructure for PictureMaker kiosks, according to a news release.

"The kiosk industry has tremendous growth potential. Our ability to leverage each other's strengths will be a critical enabler of this growth," said Gary in the release.

Craig Keefner, the association's executive director, said, "(Gary's) experience with the largest ongoing self-service kiosk project in the world, the Kodak PictureMaker, will be invaluable to the association."

Members of the Kiosks.org Association advisory board include Eastman Kodak, British Telecom, NCR, IBM, Elo TouchSystems, Kiosk Information Systems, 3M Microtouch, Factura, NetShift, NeoProducts, Lexmark, Netkey, Swecoin, IQPC/KioskCom and NetWorld Alliance, publisher of Kiosks.org and KIOSKmarketplace.

According to the release, the association provides self-service and kiosk news, research and statistics, as well as forums for discussing industry issues and best practices. The association has approximately 200 members.
