Kmart Australia tests 'click-and-collect' self-serve kiosk

Kmart Australia has introduced a "click and collect" self-serve service kiosk that uses warehouse robotics to bring orders to customers on a test basis over the next year, according to an itnews.com report.

Kmart Australia has also introduced a "select and collect" service, a separate kiosk within the store for shopping for large products, according to Ben Smith, general property manager for Kmart and Target.

Kmart Group, which includes Kmart and Target in Australia and New Zealand, is owned by Wesfarmers, a Perth, Australia based conglomerate.
