Kleerdex Company changes name to KYDEX

BLOOMSBURG, Pa. — Kleerdex Company LLC, manufacturer of KYDEX thermoplastic sheets for self-service kiosk touchscreens, has changed its name to KYDEX LLC, said Jim Medalie, company president.

"The name change is part of the natural evolution of our company," Medalie said. "It allows us to better leverage the strong brand recognition and excellent reputation that our KYDEX sheet product has earned, extending that brand and reputation to represent the company itself."

The Kleerdex Company was formed in 1987 and has successfully grown its KYDEX thermoplastic sheet brand worldwide. The KYDEX LLC headquarters and ISO-certified major manufacturing, customer service and R&D facilities will remain in Bloomsburg, Pa. The company also will maintain its administrative offices in Mount Laurel, N.J., and Reno, Nev.
